Was it Robert Frost who wrote, “The Road Not Taken?” For those that have read this, what does it mean to you?

To this author, it means to keep on challenging yourself. Never be satisfied with complacency. If it’s education that you want to improve on, then become further educated. This mindset can apply to anything in life.

I want to move beyond the comfort of every day life. Why you may ask? This helps me grow as an individual in a more positive and impactful way. I love to learn, and I will always stay humble.

Back in 2023, our team of dedicated and motivated enthusiasts began a bold organization called The Sunny Road Foundation. We were trying to accomplish an impossible dream. Our team was attempting to mitigate the act of bullying. We were also working to assist individuals living with speech impediments.

Did we regret starting this? Absolutely not! From this, we learned an immense amount of such skill sets as: leadership; creative writing; composing a business plan; team building; bookkeeping; relationship building; delivering presentations; and the legality of this process.

From this experience, we learned to continue to leave our comfort zones. We are grateful for the support and encouragement from others. We are proud of this opportunity to have helped individuals in need.

What is next? Who knows. The journey will always continue, and sometimes it will not be sunny. Looking forward to traveling on the road not taken.
