Why and how to combat it?

Why does bullying exist? So many reasons. In my humble opinion, it exists due to insecurity. Let's imagine an office party for a moment. Workers congregate and mingle. Some food and drinks are served as well. What I do not like or respect is when people team up on the weaker underdog. What does one do about it? If you are being bullied and by yourself, you can act as a lone wolf. Survey the scene and talk with whoever you choose to. You are the driver of this day and your life.
